APELLATION OF
ORIGIN:
D.O.C. Rioja, Spain
VARIETALS:
100% Graciano
ELABORATION PROCESS:
In October , after 20 days of temperature controlled maceration
in stainless steel tanks, the wine was racked into storage tanks
to make the natural malolactic fermentation. Then, clarified and
decanted until it was completely limpid. In June it was
introduced in French oak barrels where it rested till February .
The barrels were then cleaned and refilled with the same wine to
assure homogeneity. The oak ageing process continued until
Autumn , when the wine was moved to storage tanks till bottling
..
TASTING NOTES:
Dark cherry red colour with bright purple flecks. Intense
vibrant aromas with fruit emphasis and youthful floral notes.
Outstanding red and black fruit aromas mingled with spicy notes
and a well integrated touch of toasted French oak. Powerful,
modern style wine. Beautifully concentrated in mouth with fresh
balanced tannins.
